“So Long”

These are the lyrics to another song that I wrote and recorded that I hope to post soon along with some other songs. I just can’t find the recordings at the moment.

“So Long”

He sits alone,

He knows he’s done,

He can’t think straight.

A single tear,

Runs down his face,

For death he waits.

Too tired to go on.

He’s dead by dawn.

So long.

He’s not alone,

He knows it’s gone,

He can think straight.

A wrinkled grin,

Breaks on his face,

‘Cause he feels great.

Excited to go on.

He’s home by dawn.

So long.
